My name is Sandra Robinson and I’m an independent speech and language therapist. I work with individual adult clients, and with organisations.
I have extensive experience as a manager and senior clinician; in the NHS, in private neuro-rehabilitation, and as an independent practitioner, in acute and community settings.
Individuals: I provide home visits to assess, manage and provide therapy for people with dysphagia (including tracheostomy), aphasia, dysarthria, dyspraxia, and cognitive-communication difficulties. This includes case management work.
Organisations: I provide dysphagia education and training including the new IDDSI Framework implementation. I supervise colleagues in dysphagia management, tracheostomy competencies, and development of Assistant Dysphagia Practitioners. I also provide dysphagia and MCA quality audits, followed by action plans and CQC-ready reports.
